Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support in new capability development, product development and process development in the PTFE extrusion area and FEP HS areas.
• Assist in establishing new design methodologies and technologies that drive new product development that align with the strategic vision.
• Assist in gathering data for engineering studies/projects for new processes, process changes and improvements.
• Assist in the transition of product from early design/product innovation phase to commercial manufacturing.
• Support quality team with process validations.
• Assure customer quality expectations are reflected in all products being produced.
• Communicate with engineering staff, co-workers, customers, vendors, and other business contacts.
• Interpret requirements and convert into detailed procedures/work instructions.
• Partner with engineering staff to help customers solve technical issues and determine customer requirements.
• Provide training to manufacturing personnel for new processes and products.
• Troubleshoot problems with existing production processes.
• Support improvement activities in conformance with established programs and objectives per the Quality Management System.
• Promote a culture consistent with Nordson values and Foundational Attributes.
• Implement the NBS Next framework across the business to ensure sustainable profitable growth.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
