About The Position

Product Industrialization Project Manager – PH ISC / OHC (Bothell WA USA) The PIPM is responsible for the development, deployment & improvement of processes, tools, and equipment within our global manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production results within our Product Development Lifecycle Management Programs and New Product Introductions Your role: Initiates and leads process development activities Initiates CAPEX optimization for initial investments Ensures adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications, and release Initiates Design for Lean Manufacturing in PDLM processes and applies lean manufacturing principles Accountable for Process Requirements based on Product Specifications from I&D and Manufacturing Requirements Accountable for design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers driven by PDLM governed projects Responsible for resources, planning, quality, and cost (including CAPEX) for industrialization projects

Requirements

  • You have a BS/MS degree in a related Engineering field such as Industrial, Mechanical, Supply Chain, Packaging Engineering or similar.
  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience operating in a complex manufacturing environment
  • You have an excellent understanding of complex manufacturing processes, related equipment, and production line development & deployment. Additionally, you have a deep understanding of Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Testability (DFM & DFMAT)
  • Your skills include a strong understanding of R&D development processes and global Supply Chain operations processes. Additionally, you possess a strong understanding of plastics, plastic part development and injection molding
  • You have demonstrated success in resolving complex issues working with cross-functional teams to reach effective & lasting solutions
  • You can deploy Operational Excellence understanding including utilizing Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • You have robust Project Management skills (PMP preferred) with a Lean Mindset (Greenbelt preferred)
  • You’re a proficient oral and written communicator that can effectively communicate with a wide variety of cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You have a strong sense of leadership, ownership & accountability for your body of work
