This internship offers a hands-on experience within Wipfli's IP Product Group, supporting the implementation of either the Concur or EMRConnect product. Interns will build foundational consulting skills while learning the product lifecycle, implementation processes, and client support strategies.

  • Learn the architecture, functionality, and use cases of either Concur (focused on invoice processing and AP automation) or EMRConnect (focused on healthcare data integration and journal entry automation).
  • Participate in product demos and training sessions to understand client-facing features and backend configuration.
  • Assist in requirements gathering, including data mapping and extract coordination with client teams.
  • Support configuration and testing, including unit and application testing, and help prepare for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Attend and contribute to implementation kickoff meetings, reviewing product questionnaires and future-state data extracts.
  • Shadow consultants during client meetings and training sessions.
  • Help prepare documentation and training materials for client onboarding.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders including clients, finance teams, and developers.
  • Participate in internship capstone projects and feedback loops to enhance program impact.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Health Informatics, Business or related major focus.
  • Above average class performance as demonstrated by college GPA; Preferred 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to build and foster professional business relationships.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong propensity for innovative thinking balanced with the disciplined rigor for following proven methodologies.
