About The Position

5G NR is redefining how the world connects, and at PEU RAN Performance we play a key role in shaping how the air interface is realized in the 5G Radio Access Network (RAN). We are now strengthening our organization with Product Guardians – roles with end‑to-end responsibility for the quality, robustness, and operability of our Baseband software products. Based in Ottawa, Canada, or Poland (Krakow and Lodz), you will be part of a global team working closely with colleagues around the world to secure a stable, high‑performing and competitive 5G and LTE RAN portfolio.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in 5G NR and/or LTE RAN, with focus on Baseband software
  • Proven background in product quality, troubleshooting and/or system performance
  • Experience in software development, system design or verification
  • Good understanding of configuration management and feature interactions in RAN systems
  • Ability to work with data analytics, automation and modern analysis tools – or a strong willingness to learn these
  • A structured, proactive mindset and demonstrated ability to take long‑term product ownership
  • MSc or BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor and improve product health – quality, robustness, performance and customer impact across the full lifecycle
  • Be the natural focal point for product health, customer issues and improvement initiatives in your area
  • Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions in close cooperation with development, systemization, verification, troubleshooting and customer support teams
  • Use data analytics, automation and modern analysis tools to detect issues early, understand trends and validate improvements
  • Influence feature design and configuration strategies to secure high quality, efficient operability and smooth customer deployments
  • Champion a holistic product view, balancing deep technical understanding with customer experience and business priorities
