About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, collaborative Product Graphic Designer I who excels at creating compelling, brand-driven narratives and translating them from initial concept through successful market launch. In this role, you will play an integral part in shaping the visual identity of our products. You will create inspirational mood boards, segmentation-specific color, print, and pattern stories, and design solutions that ensure our products meet the specific needs of our customers. You will develop high-impact presentations, production-ready artwork, and retail packaging that engage, inspire, and elevate the customer experience, raising expectations for what a brand can deliver. As a key contributor to the creative team, you will collaborate closely with experienced designers and cross-functional partners who are committed to your professional development and long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Highly proficient in all aspects of graphic and product design, including drawing and sketching, illustration, typography, print and pattern development, color theory, and technical applications
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and timelines consecutively
  • Ability to translate consumer insights and trends into a compelling narrative
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to communicate design with intent to internal teams
  • Understands printing processes, including sublimation and screen-printing
  • Ability to manage the product branding process, including meeting all production schedules and deadlines.
  • 4 + years of relevant design experience in graphic design, footwear or apparel design, product and packaging design, hard-goods or soft-goods design, or a closely related industry involving product creation
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design or a related field, or the equivalent on-the-job experience

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Creative Director to create seasonal graphic directions and stories for Women’s, Men’s, and Kids martial arts uniforms and equipment
  • Complete projects and deliverables in a timely manner
  • Visually communicate user insights, market trends, design concepts, customer segmentation, and product/assortment architecture
  • Conceptualize, design, and produce art by integrating prints, patterns, photos, illustrations, copy, and other design elements
  • Complete Product Creation presentations, internal style guides, and assortment collection pages in addition to their seasonal in-line product responsibilities
  • Commercialization of seasonal product packaging and hangtags
