The Flow Control Specialist at times monitor the various processes within the Order picking Machine to ensure that the most efficient flow of product to the customer is maintained daily. They will communicate with individual T² Error Correctors to ensure a timely response to issues within their area of responsibility and communicate with T² Maintenance team to ensure minimal loss of Order Picking Machine efficiency when mechanical/technical issues occur. They will manage the process of receiving, cubi-scanning, and induction of new items into the system. They will manage the product versions and machine profiles for 16,000+ SKUs within the Lancaster T² system via Tray Clearing area. This position is accountable in assisting with system performance by the constant monitoring of Witron through OPM and BWOS. Proactive problem identification and strategic resolution is essential to the success of this position. Collaborate with maintenance team to identify possible mechanical deficiencies related to data collection and machine operations. This position requires considerable amounts of time analyzing masterdata of over 16,000 items. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential, along with strong communication and collaboration skills. This position may also require working shifts that exceed 10 hours and may be for a variety of shifts and hours.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to work with multiple screens on several computer monitors simultaneously
  • Be familiar/comfortable working around moving equipment and tight spaces.
  • Have the ability to communicate, make sound decisions, work well under pressure
  • Ability to climb stairs and be mobile throughout the T² system
  • Lift up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to create, use, edit, and share Excel spreadsheets with data from 16,000+ SKU’s
  • Able to use data to research details about problem SKU’s and fix problems
  • Able to adapt to product changes from vendor or mechanical changes within the system

Responsibilities

  • 90% on floor warehouse work & 10% computer analysis
  • Document and analyze error correction details as part of a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Utilizing Tray Clearing area to identify and correct problems with items
  • Setup and monitor new items introduced into the Witron system
  • Leverage inventory management screens in Witron to track, fix, and analyze functionality of all items within system
  • Assign, manage, and analyze masterdata and product versions of all products assigned to the T² system
