Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or minimum 2 years of experience in related functions described under Essential Duties.
  • Team members will be required to attend various training classes to ensure adequate knowledge of company specific information, customer, regulatory, and other requirements as determined by job process, standard operating procedures or other elements as required.
  • The Team Member is required to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Team members are expected to perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established procedures. This includes wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), participating in safety training, immediately reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and stopping work when unsafe conditions exist. All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and for actively contributing to the prevention of workplace injuries and accidents.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Responsibilities

  • Experience managing all technical or engineering related issues with respective customer.
  • Exposure to customer expectations beyond engineering related functions.
  • Exposure to supporting Marketing Group with engineering input during customer visits.
  • Exposure to supporting and communicating with various customer contacts such as Buyers, Quality and Sales representatives.
  • Experience managing new product introductions through the Prototype and Pre-Production processes.
  • Experience in supporting Engineering in identifying solutions to production problems that reduce labor efficiency, increase scrap, and impact quality of product.
  • Experience in managing and documenting customer engineering changes. Also determining the impact of these changes on other processes.
  • Limited experience initiating and coordinating the design of custom manual and automatic test equipment.
  • Experience developing test procedures or test specifications.
  • Experience evaluating and developing appropriate programming processes.
  • Limited experience in recommending alternate devices to improve functionality or cost targets.
  • Experience in managing end of life or discontinued components and potential options with the customer.
  • Experience in coordinating design, manufacturability, test and quality data and feedback for respective customers.
  • Able to direct the activities of PE Support Technician’s.
  • Exposure to coordinating activities and solutions within TT Electronics to resolve problems affecting customer.
