About The Position

The Product Engineering Intern position is a full-time internship opportunity for the summer of 2026, located in Lancaster, PA. This internship is designed for current undergraduate students majoring in Engineering, specifically those who are in their junior or senior year. The internship will last for 12 to 15 weeks, from May to August 2026, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Interns will engage in various engineering projects and gain exposure to different aspects of engineering practices. Additionally, interns will participate in summer Career Readiness programming, which includes professional development and networking opportunities to help transition from college to career.

Requirements

• Current Junior or Senior undergraduate student in the areas of mechanical, industrial, general, or nuclear engineering.
• Experience using 3D CAD Software (Creo), PLM (Windchill), FEA, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of diaphragm valves, focusing on performance and manufacturability.
• Support actuator design projects by contributing to component development.
• Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure valves and actuators meet engineering standards.
• Contribute to engineering design efforts by developing and evaluating proof-of-concept models.
