About The Position

What Product Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health Engineering is responsible for performing research and analyses to develop design options for components, products, systems and processes. Product Engineering is responsible for developing iterations, modifying, implementing and supporting existing products that function within the product families through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. Job Summary The Engineer of Product is responsible for specific tasks and overall objectives to meet and exceed team and personal goals while managing multiple projects under general guidance. This role also conceptualizes project paths quickly and accurately, is a problem solver, and addresses challenges strategically and efficiently.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Applies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks
  • Works on projects of limited scope and complexity
  • Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems
  • Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions
  • Develops competence by performing structured work assignments

Responsibilities

  • Works with a team of project engineers or lab techs ensuring efficient time to market for projects assigned.
  • Works with cross-functional partners, and maintain open lines of communication with peers and leadership
  • Effectively manage multiple CDP projects with guidance from SME expertise and individual strengths of team members
  • Ensure projects continue to move smoothly cross functional partners
  • Maintain project timelines and project budgets for assigned projects while promoting efficiency through continuous process improvement
