About The Position
Heartland RVS is seeking a progressive and talented professional to join our Engineering team as a Product Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and overseeing documents created by the engineering department, including drawings, models, and specifications. Your expertise will guide the development of product designs while analyzing risks associated with new designs or processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are fabricated and assembled according to the intended functionality of the design, providing support to manufacturing as needed. As a Product Engineer, you will collaborate with team members to direct detailed product design and implementation, ensuring that all projects align with schedule and budget parameters. You will meet with leaders to establish product needs and specifications within the industry, conducting research on competitive product lines to create new or enhanced products that drive business goals. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing or potentially creating designs, layouts, and calculations for new or enhanced products, identifying the timing, resources, and costs necessary to achieve successful outcomes. This position requires strong judgment and problem-solving skills to lead and motivate the team while maintaining a high level of communication. You will be expected to perform other tasks or duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the engineering department and the company.
