About The Position

Assists engineers to develop or enhance the user experience and interface for computer-aided engineering design software solutions. Provides technical feedback to software developers related to usability and workflow simplification. Uses data exchange and prototype methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines. Creates technical specifications to define and optimize visual interfaces and system procedures related to computer-aided engineering software. Works with close Supervision. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent design engineering job experience
• This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support
• Help to influence management decisions
• Provide information/background/opinion in a consulting role to other internal organizations, in addition to customers
• Give presentations on products and the industry at conferences and User Group Meetings
• Escalate serious matters to management
