About The Position

This role is responsible for estimating, quoting, and launching new Government, Industrial, and Energy Manufactured Components programs. The individual will perform engineering and process design reviews for new opportunities to ensure competitive and quality solutions. The types of parts in scope include steel and other metal components (excluding plastic or ceramic), cut bar and tube slugs, forgings, extrusions, and both green and finished machined parts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, program management, application engineering, marketing, new business development or related
• or a Master's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, program management, application engineering, marketing, new business development or related

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business Development and Sales team to support new opportunities
• Review customer prints to determine ideal manufacturing process and supply chain for new opportunities
• Prepare estimates (budgetary quotes) and firm quotes for customer RFQs
• Conduct contract review for new launches, ensuring review of technical and commercial requirements
• Lead weekly cross-functional launch meetings to ensure timely launches
• Manage unexpected issues during launches to resolution
• Conduct post-launch profitability reviews and profitability analysis
• Support supply chain development
• Support strategic product evolution
