Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent engineering experience.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• 5 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing or development management.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing and integrating manufacturing hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
• Experience working with agreement manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, optimize, and deploy platforms for Google compute servers at global manufacturing partners.
• Partner with the NPI team to define Design for Manufacturing (DfM) requirements and provide input to the manufacturing test strategy.
• Provide caliber manufacturing engineering support for new and existing products.
• Drive initiatives to improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause of manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes.
• Drive issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with internal engineers and partner engineers to drive improvement for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proactively and reactively drive change to improve product quality
