Product Engineer (Full Stack / Backend-Leaning)
About The Position
Were a YC-backed, San Francisco–based startup building autonomous AI agents for fraud, compliance, trust & safety, and threat intelligence. Our platform provides a unified API and end-to-end system that helps companies integrate best-in-class safety tools quickly and reliably. Founded by engineers from leading Trust & Safety teams, were already working with enterprise customers and Fortune 500 companies. Were growing fast and scaling both product and team to meet demand. Work directly with founders on frontier AI systems solving real-world risk and safety problems. Ship features with iteration cycles measured in hours—not quarters. Own product features end-to-end, from backend logic to polished UI to production deployment. Help build infrastructure that processes billions of events per day. Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience (mid to senior level).
- Experience in startup environments or strong signal backgrounds (top-tier schools, impressive GitHub, or top-tier tech companies).
- Hands-on experience with React/Next.js, TypeScript, MySQL, and familiarity with ClickHouse.
- Strong fundamentals in full stack development with the ability to own features end-to-end.
- Passion for craftsmanship and strong opinions about code quality and product design.
- Comfort working in a high-urgency, fast-paced, in-person environment.

Responsibilities
- Design and ship full product features across frontend and backend layers.
- Build and scale AI-driven interfaces used in high-stakes environments.

- Collaborate closely with founders to solve real-time decisioning challenges balancing precision, speed, and user trust.
- Run fast pilots, demos, and production rollouts across industries.
- Contribute to architectural decisions that enable scaling to billions of events.
