Collabor collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic fast-paced challenging environment. The role involves leading product development projects from product prototyping, development, deployment/product release, and initial field support. You will independently design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems, and present analysis and support technical recommendations clearly and concisely. Collaboration with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams is essential to guide the specification and development of products. Additionally, you will provide technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues. Maintaining a high degree of customer engagement, including face-to-face and international travel to customer sites, is required to support near-term product releases and solve customer issues. The work environment includes a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment.

  • Lead product development projects from product prototyping, development, deployment/product release, and initial field support.
  • Independently design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Present analysis and support technical recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide the specification and development of products.
  • Provide technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer engagement including face-to-face and international travel to customer sites supporting near term product releases and solve customer issues.
  • Work in a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment.
  • Master's degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience; or a PhD with 5+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
  • Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Exceptional clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
  • Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial.
  • Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
