Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience; or Master’s degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience; or 10+ years of semiconductor equipment; or equivalent experience
- Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
- Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial.
- Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
- Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Manual machining skills and/or operating a CNC Mill or Lathe.
Responsibilities
- Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic fast-paced challenging environment.
- Supports product development from product prototyping, development, deployment/product release, and initial field support.
- Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
- Create clear and concise reports to present analysis and support technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide the specification and development of products.
- Provides technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
- Work in a lab and/or cleanroom lab.
