About The Position

The Product Director is responsible for the management and execution of high priority strategic initiatives, including the development of enterprise level strategy for key data center relationships based on pre-existing business (largely backup power generation testing services). Essential Functions Identifies key purchase criteria to define enterprise level offering, including service levels, IT platform and pricing. Develops view on competitive offerings and relative positioning, refining channel and go to market strategy's necessary. Develops and executes market entry strategy for transformer oil testing, including business case, resourcing and market and competitive dynamics. Identifies medium-term market opportunities indirect to chip and immersion cooling.Identifiesand cultivateskeyvendorand customer relationships. Develops business case and ROI to support required investments by assessing market size and growth rates. Identifies key competitors relative strengths and weaknesses incorporating them into the company’ s target value proposition. Develops and implements key metrics and dashboards in support of budget reporting. Participates in key commercial engagements with customers in strategic segments. Provides support for resource allocation decisions within the sales, operations and IT functions. Participate in key industry groups assisting in developing technical standards and methodologies to support next generation technologies. Works with senior leadership to identify and address human capital and capability gaps required to support these objectives with leadership to identify solutions. Identifies other strategic opportunities, via both organic growth and M&A initiatives. Reinforce a culture of continuous improvement focused on success and goal achievement Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of satisfaction Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners, developing key relationships Ensure available resources and facilitate training opportunities for the broader sales team

Requirements

  • Customer service orientation with relationship building skills
  • Goal oriented with demonstrated entrepreneurial experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, public speaking and presentation skills
  • Four year business or related degree with 10 years of executive experience
  • Ability to travel extensively and manage a diverse set of priorities
  • Willingness to learn the industry and POLARIS systems/ processes
