About The Position

As the Executive Director within the Chief Technology Office – Engineering Services Platform, you will be at the forefront of defining and promoting the Testing Strategy and Roadmap in the era of AI. Serve as the voice of the customer both internal engineering teams and firm-wide stakeholders accountable for the overall health, adoption, and value delivered by the product portfolio. You bring deep domain expertise in quality engineering, the ability to synthesize market trends and customer needs into a compelling vision, and the executive presence to drive transformation at scale. Operating as part of a leadership trio alongside Engineering and Technical Program Managers, you will lead across multiple products and product lines within the Engineering Services Platform.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, quality engineering, or technology leadership, with at least 3 years at Director level or above in financial services or a similarly regulated industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree
  • Extensive experience with quality and testing automation frameworks, CI/CD continuous testing strategies, and emerging AI-driven testing methodologies at enterprise scale
  • Demonstrated ability to build a compelling product vision, secure executive sponsorship, and deliver against a multi-year, firm-wide roadmap
  • Deep understanding of testing and quality technologies, including AI/ML-based approaches, with fluency in technical trade-offs
  • Experience with client consultation, journey mapping, Design Thinking, and user-centered product design
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership and C-suite level

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with AI/ML applied to software testing (intelligent test generation, predictive analytics, self-healing automation, LLM-based code analysis)
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation in a global technology organization with 10,000+ engineers
  • P&L management experience or oversight of significant technology investment budgets
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations related to AI adoption and software quality in financial services
  • Track record of building and scaling product management teams in a matrixed, global organization

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for quality and testing products, overseeing the full lifecycle from inception to delivery with outcome-based roadmaps incorporating AI-driven innovations
  • Lead executive-level partnerships across product, engineering, risk, compliance, and operations to drive the product offering, client engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Own end-to-end product portfolio performance, including financial, risk, and operational accountability
  • Drive executive decision-making that influences the success of product objectives and the broader testing transformation agenda
  • Inspire and lead large-scale teams to integrate AI-powered quality and testing services that form the backbone of the Engineering Services Platform
  • Anticipate and shape the future, identifying new opportunities and positioning JPMorganChase at the leading edge of AI-driven quality engineering
  • Mentor and develop product management talent, raising the bar for product leadership across the organization
