About The Position

David Yurman Summer 2026 Internship The David Yurman Internship Program in New York City is a paid 9-week immersive experience designed for students and emerging professionals passionate about the luxury jewelry industry. This exclusive program offers interns the opportunity to work closely with expert teams across various departments. Interns will gain hands-on experience in crafting exquisite jewelry, understanding the intricacies of luxury branding, and learning the operational aspects of a world-renowned brand. Set in the heart of NYC, interns will also have access to networking events, mentorship, and industry insights that foster professional growth in the competitive luxury market. David Yurman is looking for a Product Development Intern to help support the Women’s PD Team. The selected candidate should have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative approach.

Requirements

  • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn about the product development processes.
  • Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field with a 3.0 overall GPA minimum.
  • Business management, fine arts or Apparel/Fashion Merchandising, Product Development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Women’s PD Team with turning over new market vendor project kits, including CAD posting requests, creation of mechanicals, releasing POs and PLM vendor assignments.
  • Research on industry standards such as earring fits, tennis bracelet sizing
  • Upload and input QA testing results in PLM for quick future accessibility.
  • Create mechanicals for existing components for internal and external use.
  • Work with Project Managers to review new market samples to identify callouts and feedback for Design Team review.
  • Attend daily Design meetings with PD Team to expand jewelry and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Contribute to any outstanding ASR projects, a PD initiative to second source key styles within the business.
  • Assist with product verification in partnership with the Merchandising Vault and Ecommerce Teams.
  • Work closely with your reporting PM to learn about the challenges PD faces and help brainstorm ways to mitigate
