About The Position

Requirements

  • Ability to mentor and develop others.
  • Understanding of P&C insurance principles, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop creative solutions.
  • Communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in product lifecycle tools and project management software.
  • Ability to supervise multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with product management tools, data analysis tools, and regulatory filing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day product development activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities for new or improved P&C insurance products.
  • Analyze customer feedback and industry trends to inform product decisions.
  • Assist in drafting coverage forms and policy language tailored to specific market segments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., underwriting, actuarial, IT, legal) throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure product filings and implementations comply with state and federal insurance regulations.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to monitor regulatory changes and adjust product offerings.
  • Support pricing strategy development in partnership with underwriting and actuarial teams.
  • Work with IT to enable digital product delivery and system configuration.
  • Assist sales and marketing teams with product positioning, training, and go-to-market planning.
  • Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to product managers, fostering collaboration and continuous development.
  • Participate in personnel actions such as performance evaluations and development planning.
