We're looking for a Product Development Specialist to join our Private Label team. The core focus of this role is managing projects from concept through launch, ensuring smooth workflow between internal teams, vendors, and manufacturers. You will play a critical role in communication, organization, and execution to bring new products successfully to market. While project management is the foundation of this role, additional skills in CAD design, 3D printing, product sketching, rendering, and animation are highly valued. These tools will improve efficiency in prototyping and product visualization, as well as support marketing and creative initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of organization and creativity-someone who enjoys managing projects while also contributing technical or design skills to push innovation forward.

  • Manage the product development process from idea to production launch.
  • Act as the primary communicator between internal teams, vendors, and manufacturers.
  • Track timelines, samples, approvals, and project deliverables.
  • Maintain clear project documentation and provide updates to leadership.
  • Create CAD files, 3D models, and technical drawings for new products.
  • Develop sketches, renderings, or animations to visualize product concepts.
  • Utilize 3D printing for rapid prototyping and testing.
  • Support marketing with product visuals and assets when applicable.
  • Partner with marketing, photography, and e-commerce teams to ensure smooth product launches.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure product designs meet brand, quality, and customer needs.
  • Provide technical insights to improve efficiency and speed in the development cycle.

  • Creative & Technical - CAD, 3D printing, or animation experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, etc.).
  • Experience with 3D modeling, rendering, or animation tools.
  • Exposure to 3D printing or prototyping.
  • Background in product development, industrial design, or related fields.
  • Experience working with manufacturers or suppliers.
  • Interest in outdoor and tactical gear; familiarity with firearms is a plus (training provided).
