About The Position

Delivery on the development of customer driven products, primarily focused on building benchtop samples and capsules, raw material evaluations, and cost savings initiatives. Preferred experience 1 - 3 years in nutraceutical industry.

Responsibilities

Manage projects and tasks using Odoo project management tracker
Quote sheets, Flavor evaluations, 2nd Sourcing, Expiration extensions,
Flavor benching, Capsule benching, Scale ups, etc.
Complete assigned tasks and update tracker in a timely manner
Work with attention to detail and urgency
Communicate proactively to appropriate departments on tasks
Ability to transfer old quote sheets into current quote sheet format
Ability to use ERP system Deacom to search for current part numbers for raw materials, packaging components, finished goods and sub-assemblies.
Check current cost, vendors, pack size, MOQ's, BOM's
Create RFQ's as needed for new quotes and notify Sourcing/Procurement
Link project number, estimated volume, sample size, supplier as needed
Create new quote sheets of Customer Supplied product briefs, formulas, etc.
Check inventory of existing materials and request refill as needed
Ability to review ingredient or product specifications, allergens, COA's, etc
Collect and Create Base ingredients for flavor or capsule projects based on customer direction
Use feedback from Customer/Sales/PD to modify flavor experience
Record results of bench tests, pH, density, brix, salinity, color, etc.
Assist Product Development VP, Manager with customer/supplier on-site meetings
Set up demos for tasting & evaluations, recap for next steps
Assist Commercialization with scoop tests, density, packaging sizing's
Prep samples needed to ship to customers
Request or Print Shipping labels as needed
Deliver PD samples to Shipping department
Ability to complete QT9 tasks & training
Adhere to Catalyst Behaviors
Comply with all Safety and SOP policies and procedures
Participate in Departmental training sessions
