Product Development Research Intern: MRD V2 (Summer 2026)

Position Overview We are seeking highly motivated candidate interested in learning more about Cancer diagnostic products to join our Product Development team dedicated to developing an MRD assay for cancer care. As a key member of the product development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of research including sample processing, NGS based workflow development, and data analysis. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of scientists and learn from them. You will be part of our work towards helping cancer patients by monitoring their disease and supporting treatment decisions.
Requirements
- Good academic understanding of Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry, self-motivated, organized and able to work as part of a team.
- Prior experience in Molecular Biology lab techniques.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- Preference giving to candidates with a record of outstanding academic achievement.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with DNA or RNA sequencing workflows.
- Data analysis skills and basic knowledge of Python/R is a plus.
- Experience in an academic research lab.
Responsibilities
- Human specimen processing for nucleic acid isolation.
- Create detailed experimental plans, notes, and summaries.
- Assist other team members as necessary.
