About The Position

The Product Development Program Manager at Medtronic will lead cross-functional teams in the Cardiac Ablation Solutions division, focusing on the development of innovative medical technologies for treating abnormal heart rhythms. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience

  • Record of success in leading product development and/or process improvement projects
  • Experience working in a regulated industry and strong understanding of medical device regulations

  • Detailed skill in organizing work for unstructured problems or execution tasks
  • Ability to work independently and take the initiative on tasks

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional development teams to deliver products from ideation to market launch
  • Set clear objectives, evaluate progress against objectives, and instill a performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountability
  • Build high performing cross-functional project teams on a local and global basis
  • Lead development on one or more small to mid-sized projects
  • Utilize effective influence, prioritization, conflict resolution & risk management skills
  • Drive project execution across functions and facilities to achieve results
  • Communicate effectively with functional management and senior leaders
  • Manage predictable project schedules and budgets
  • Provide regular status updates for management and cross-functional review
