About The Position

ZwitterCo is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Product Development Manager to join our team. This key role will guide ZwitterCo’s innovative products from concept to full market launch. The ideal candidate will have a background in product design and a passion for turning ideas into tangible solutions. Experience in the membranes industry highly desirable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, product design, or a related field).
• Membranes industry experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling utilizing Solidworks or AutoCAD.
• Strong technical foundation in product development with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Innovative mindset geared to develop unique and competitive product solutions that stand out in the market.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve design issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to function autonomously and take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate the entire product development process, working across R&D, engineering, marketing, and operations to deliver exceptional products.
• Lead the design and develop new products or improve existing ones, working closely with product management teams to meet customer needs.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources throughout the product development process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Tackle challenges that arise during the development process with creative and innovative thinking to find effective solutions.
• Create detailed product element designs using CAD software (Solidworks/AutoCAD) and lead development of prototypes for testing and evaluation.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, and R&D, to ensure element designs are feasible, meet quality standards, and market-ready.
• Maintain thorough documentation of product specifications, production instructions, and testing results to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
