About The Position
The Product Development Manager will conduct in-depth reviews of published scientific research related to nutrition, health benefits, and dietary supplement ingredients, leveraging AI tools to accelerate literature review, data extraction, and analysis. This role involves using analysis tools to identify emerging trends, interpret complex research, and uncover consumer insights that support product development and innovation. The Product Development Manager will summarize and interpret scientific findings to support product development and identify innovative opportunities. Additionally, the role includes assisting in drafting scientific content, including technical summaries/reports and product claims substantiation. Staying current with emerging studies, trends, and regulatory guidelines within the dietary supplement industry is crucial. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to bridge marketing objectives with rigorous scientific research to translate into product development proposals. The Product Development Manager will ensure research methodologies are rigorous, unbiased, and support the company's exacting standards for quality and efficacy. Managing product labeling, including Supplement and Nutrition Facts, with expertise in FDA labeling regulations and compliance is also a key responsibility.
