About The Position

Requirements
- Working toward a degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Psychology, or Business with a Marketing focus
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with conducting competitive analyses
- Comfortable working independently when needed
- Basic understanding of key marketing principles - completion of a minimum of two marketing or business-related classes
- Comfortable with using Excel and PowerPoint or similar programs
Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Conduct a thorough review of the competitive landscape and available solutions related to the key consumer needs. Identify whitespace opportunities and unmet needs to inform product innovation strategy.
- Collaboration and Insight: Identify key opportunities in the pet products market. Engage internal cross-functional teams to help identify potential solutions for these opportunities. Potential to coordinate and supervise activities with external agencies and partners.
- Consumer Empathy: Help increase our understanding of how consumers experience pet products in the market today, including frustrations and aspirations.
- New Product Development Support: Investigate product claims, providing detailed insights that can directly impact our strategy.
