Requirements

• Working toward a degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Psychology, or Business with a Marketing focus
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with conducting competitive analyses
• Comfortable working independently when needed
• Basic understanding of key marketing principles – completion of a minimum of two marketing or business-related classes
• Comfortable with using Excel and PowerPoint or similar programs

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Conduct a thorough review of the competitive landscape and available solutions related to the key consumer needs.
• Identify whitespace opportunities and unmet needs to inform product innovation strategy.
• Collaboration and Insight: Identify key opportunities in the pet products market.
• Engage internal cross-functional teams to help identify potential solutions for these opportunities.
• Potential to coordinate and supervise activities with external agencies and partners.
• Consumer Empathy: Help increase our understanding of how consumers experience pet products in the market today, including frustrations and aspirations.
• New Product Development Support: Investigate product claims, providing detailed insights that can directly impact our strategy.
