This internship is a dynamic 12-week program that provides hands-on experience with real-world projects that align with your studies and make a real impact. Interns will take charge of strategic projects, engage with company executives, and receive guidance from industry experts, all while being part of a culture that prioritizes health, safety, and well-being. This internship serves as a pathway to a thriving career, with many interns transitioning to full-time roles after graduation.

  • Partner with Food Scientists to develop new products and enhance existing ones.
  • Prepare experimental formulas, processing techniques, and product specifications under guidance.
  • Collect data, record observations, and ensure accurate documentation of test results.
  • Assist in evaluating alternative ingredients to improve product quality and reduce costs.
  • Verify preparation instructions and document product performance and quality.
  • Conduct literature reviews and competitive product assessments.
  • Assist in scaling successful prototypes from lab to production.
  • Follow laboratory safety protocols and support adherence to food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Share test findings and recommendations in clear, professional formats.
  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree Food Science program or related field.
  • Anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.
  • GPA of 3.0+ preferred.
  • Foundational understanding of food science or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with lab or statistical software is a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn and adaptability.
  • Hands-on experience with real-world projects.
