About The Position

The ILIA Beauty Product Development Internship Program is a three-month immersive program created for undergraduate students, recent graduates or early career professionals passionate about the beauty industry. This program offers hands-on experience and educational opportunities that will provide a foundational understanding of product development in a clean beauty environment. This is an on-site role that will report to our Laguna Beach Headquarters office 2 to 4 days per week. The anticipated duration of this internship is from September to December 2025. The internship will last for three months, offering participants a part-time commitment (<30 hours per week - (2) 8-hour days or (4) 4-hour days). Interns will engage in structured learning and hands-on projects that cover essential aspects of product development.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Passion for color cosmetics, skincare and the beauty industry in general.
• Energetic self-starter who is detail and results oriented.
• Collaborative team player.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 360 and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of product development processes in the beauty industry.
• Gain experience in market research, the product development process, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Work on real-world projects, collaborating with various teams within the organization.
• Build a professional network and learn from experienced product development leaders.
• Present a project summarizing key learnings and contributions to the cross-functional teams at the end of the program.
