Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in product development or a related field
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
- Frequent use of hands that comes with the use of tools.
- Agility of the upper and lower body extremities with the ability to reach, crouch, kneel, or stoop.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of new products from concept to launch
- Conduct design and feasibility studies, including prototyping and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing to ensure successful product launch
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements to bring new ideas to the company
- Additional duties may be assigned as required.
