About The Position

Design, develop, and release driveline components from concept to production, ensuring alignment with program attribute requirements and timing. Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including Driveline Systems, Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and external suppliers. Manage supplier relationships, including technical reviews, component sourcing, and evaluation to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets, communicating progress and potential risks to stakeholders. Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, test reports, and engineering release documents. Established and active employee resource groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
  • 2+ years of automotive experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in driveline component development.
  • Familiarity with DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) processes.
