About The Position

Free People is looking for a Product Development Coordinator who will support the daily operational functions of the Product Development and sourcing teams in all aspects of product development. You will follow the collections from inception until the style is approved or dropped. You will maintain key cross functional relationships with internal partners: design, buying and production.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel Skills required.
• Ability to analyze design & pd process, advise on strategies to achieve sample goals.
• Ability to prioritize projects and multiple tasks. manage time effectively
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
• Exhibit a strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Capable to run meetings and keep the team on task.
• Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze design/development line plans & Report workflow needs
• Coordinate, assign, and schedule appropriate meetings, according to development calendar.
• Reporting on WIP report and line sheets, send out briefs & amendments
• Reporting on Sample deliveries, maintaining all relationships to the calendar
• Maintain department calendar & communications
• Professionally communicate via email and in person, design, production and buying team members.
• Manage style creation in Tradestone and communicate style information to vendors
• Professionally communicate via email and in person, design, production and buying team members.
