Magnolia Bakery, a globally recognized bakery brand, is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to join our team at the Long Island production facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth coordination and administrative activities related to product development. The Product Development Coordinator will be responsible for managing the recipe database and nutritional labeling, ensuring that all products meet the high standards of Magnolia Bakery. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about food service innovation and has a strong background in culinary arts. In this role, the coordinator will maintain and revise all recipes for products produced at the commissary, working closely with the Plant Manager. The responsibilities include supporting the development of training content, maintaining food databases, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. The coordinator will also be involved in creating technical specification sheets for wholesale products and collaborating with the Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to maintain the Smartsheet Raw Material Database. The Product Development Coordinator will assist in conducting Nutrition Facts studies and work with various teams to ensure product quality aligns with recipe standards. This position is essential for executing recipe validation and training for new items, making it a key role in the product development process at Magnolia Bakery.
