About The Position

The Product Development Co-op supports Technical Services and R&D through data analysis, experiments, and research for Epoxy. This role will support efforts related to new product and applications development.

Requirements

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree program
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin
• Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) either January - May 2026 or August - December 2026
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
• A Valid US Driver's license is required

Nice To Haves

• Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location
• Preference will be given to candidates with availability and desire to work a minimum of three (3) terms with no more than one of those terms occurring over the summer

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need
• Plan and execute lab experiments in accordance with project plans
• Analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings
• Conduct literature searches to increase technical understanding, identify gaps, and validate hypothesis
• Follow guidance for safe operations in the lab
