THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Product Development Director, Catalysts, the Product Development Chemist will:

Lead technical implementation of assigned product development programs, innovation strategies, and key initiatives in alignment with Technology Leadership, Product Management, and Commercial stakeholders.
Design and conduct experiments to measure and improve product performance.
Reformulate existing suite of products to generate new desirable features and functions. 
Understand the needs of our customers to develop marketable solutions for them. 
Launch products, provide field support, and participate in meetings which may necessitate some travel and overnight stays.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and MS in Chemistry required.
• At least 3-plus years of progressive experience within industrial product development or technical service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of product development processes and applications in the indoor air, emission reduction, and catalyst coatings industries is desirable.
