About The Position

As a Product Development Chemist for Industrial Mineral Products Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Support and contribute as a technical lead for discovery and new product development activities with an expertise in inorganic chemistry, material science and/or ceramics. Fundamentals in inorganic chemistry to leverage product formulations and effects of materials on natural weathering. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems and to apply/implement new or modified chemistries. Willingness to be flexible across functions and explore new areas for roofing granule technology.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry and/or Material Science from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of inorganic chemistry, material science and/or ceramics in a private, public, government or military environment.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Ceramics or Materials Science degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Data science and/or programming skills to analyze data.
