About The Position

As an Entry Level Development Chemist, you will work in the laboratory as a member of the automotive refinish technical team at Delaware, OH. You will support Refinish coatings R&D and contribute to the development of new products. You will work in the formulations laboratory under the supervision of an experienced chemist. Activities include paint formulation, spray application, and physical and chemical property testing of standard and experimental color coatings. You will contribute to experimental design and planning with responsibility for conducting formulation experiments and communicating results to technical leadership and marketing organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Experience with statistical tools for design of experiment
• 1+ years coating experience
• Experience with coating application techniques.
