The Production Development Assistant plays a key role in supporting the seasonal product development needs for the Adult Beauty Division, working closely with cross-functional partners including Production, Design, Sales, and Overseas Offices. This role helps to drive the product lifecycle from concept through execution, ensuring timelines, quality, and brand standards are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Superior organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative
  • Knowledge of beauty development process from inception through production, including but not limited to componentry, payoff, packaging, formulations
  • 1-3 years’ experience in product development or design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe illustrator knowledge of Airtable is a plus
  • People-oriented, enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
  • Adaptable and flexible, enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directions

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain approval charts (internal, buyer and licensor), ensuring all product details are accurately recorded.
  • Assist with daily communication between suppliers, vendors, and overseas partners to track product submissions, clarify details, and keep development timelines moving.
  • Participate in review meetings with design team to evaluate components, design details, artwork placement, componentry, product payoff, fragrance, and overall execution, confirming alignment with the design and buyers intent during pre pro stage of all styles.
  • Manage and track all product submissions, PP samples, and TOP samples to ensure availability and accuracy for key milestones.
  • Catalog, organize, and maintain component standard libraries and archives for future projects and design reference.
