Product Developer - R&D An Opportunity you Do-Nut want to miss! Overview : This position works with a team of R&D professionals to provide research and development services for company’s d onut and cake plants. This role may include direct communication with customers (peer to peer) during product development, but will predominantly involve collaboration with other internal departments of the company. Lead commercialization of produ cts and ensure post launch quality of products is maintained and/or improved . Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure any change in regards to Bill of Material s , Line Standards, and Formulations etc. is managed flawlessly through established procedures. Learn and adhere to company’s innovative Product Lifecycle Management program ; as well learn and utilize other technical tools as for the role. Ensure that technical knowledge of the baking industry is continually upgraded w ith emphasis being placed on processes, products and ingredients Adhere to plant safety policies and communicate any safety issues to the appropriate personnel . Required Experience: 2 – 4 year s of experience in bakery industry, but any other CPG industry experience will also be considered. Bachelor of Science (Food Science, Chemistry, Biological or related ) is preferred, but equivalent amount of experience with in bakery industry would be considered. Experience with commercializing product s on new and existing manufacturing lines is desirable. Creative, go-getter and collaborative . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) . Flexibility to adapt to ever changing dynamics of the industry , as well as the organization which strives for continuous improvement of its products and processes . Infectious enthusiasm and commitment to adapt to organization’ s mission of becoming World’s Greatest Baker . Work environment and expectations : Required to work in Laboratory, Production floor and Office/desk . Requirements

  • 2 – 4 year s of experience in bakery industry, but any other CPG industry experience will also be considered.
  • Bachelor of Science (Food Science, Chemistry, Biological or related ) is preferred, but equivalent amount of experience with in bakery industry would be considered.
