About The Position

The Product Developer I, Bags at YETI is responsible for driving the development of bag products from concept to production readiness. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including Industrial Design, Material Development, and Category Management, to create high-quality products that align with YETI's vision and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in product development or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the outdoor or consumer goods industry.
• Familiarity with CAD software and design tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the YETI Design Teams to understand the vision and direction for the product.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external manufacturing partners to advance a product from prototype stages to successful mass production.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to understand the project timeline and adhere to milestones and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot design, material, and trim details required to execute product development.
