This Product Designer role focuses on designing AI Employees that autonomously handle tasks like answering phones, booking appointments, and closing deals for local businesses. You will be instrumental in creating interaction patterns for humans working alongside AI, partnering with Product Management and engineering to solve complex UX problems in applied AI.

Requirements

2-3 years designing complex software that real people use daily under pressure - you've worked on systems where the underlying technology is powerful but the experience has to feel simple
Track record of defining interaction paradigms, not just executing within them - you've invented patterns that didn't exist before, not just iterated on established ones
Proven ability to do your own research and bring it back as product direction, not just design artifacts - you talk to customers, watch how they work, and walk out knowing what to build next
Comfortable moving between high-ambiguity AI interaction problems and the core SaaS workflows that tie them together - you don't treat one as more interesting than the other
CS degree or equivalent builder experience - you've shipped code, understand how systems work under the hood, and don't need engineering to explain why something is hard
Prototypes in code as a default, not a last resort - Cursor, Claude Code, or similar are already part of how you work
Comfortable designing across every surface the product touches - you don't get precious about the medium
Curious about AI and how it changes the products you build - you don't need to be an expert but you need to care

Nice To Haves

Background in home services, health/wellness, or automotive a plus

Responsibilities

Design AI agent experiences - how agents show up, how they hand off to humans, and how they fail gracefully
Define interaction models for AI-first workflows - how people understand what their agents are doing, step in when needed, and get better outcomes over time
Design the core business workflows that sit alongside our agents - the records, queues, and dashboards that operators live in daily
Make deeply complex systems feel simple to people who don't care how they work
Set the design standard for the team and raise the craft bar across the entire product surface
Lead with customers - on-site, running your own research, and using it to drive what we build next
Drive alignment across PM, engineering, and GTM without needing a defined process to do it
