About The Position

As a Product Designer at Blumen Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer platform, company website, and marketing materials. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking system that facilitates the energy transition, addressing complex UX/UI challenges while working closely with the Head of Product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design.
• Proficiency in Figma and user experience analytics software.
• Deep empathy for users and a passion for creating delightful experiences for non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexible and iterative systems thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Personable and excited to work closely with customers in natural resources industries.

Nice To Haves

• Previous design experience with enterprise software that incorporates mapping functionality.
• Demonstrated interest in energy development, land use, mineral exploration, or similar topics.
• Past experience with government data sources (BLM, EPA, USFS, DOE, NOAA, BOEM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end design, defining early product concepts and executing effective visual designs.
• Creating wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Rapid prototyping, moving quickly between low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs to test assumptions.
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.
