About The Position

Apple is seeking a Product Designer to join a team working on the just-announced
Apple Creator Studio. This collection of powerful creative apps is designed to
put studio-grade power into the hands of everyone, building on the essential
role Mac, iPad, and iPhone play in the lives of millions of creators around the
world.

The ideal candidate is driven to design elegant experiences for consumer
applications that are workflow-driven, deep, and complex. You will work
alongside partners in design, engineering, marketing, and QA to craft and
develop innovative features through thoughtful interaction design and nuanced
visual design. You have the ability to quickly grasp and distill intricate
design challenges into sophisticated and beautiful solutions. You are a nimble,
effective diplomat with an aptitude for collaboration and persuasive
communication. Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills are
a must, as well as the ability to navigate rapid change and ambiguity. You can
produce comprehensive, precise deliverables under tight deadlines while

Requirements

• 4+ years of work experience with a focus on product design and UI across a variety of platforms like iOS, macOS, web, and others
• Experience in shipping digital products from start to finish including the documentation and development process
• Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations
• Highly skilled and fast in any tools you need to visualize your ideas and deliver the work
• Enthusiasm and history working in an iterative design process, motivated by group critique
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to present work to large groups and executives
• Expertise in Sketch
• Knowledgable in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Knowledgable in the elements, principles, and history of graphic design

Nice To Haves

• Knowledgeable with Apple productivity and creativity apps including Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Freeform, Pixelmator, Final Cut Pro, Motion, and Logic Pro
• Knowledgeable in the design and development of AI-powered products and experiences, including UI patterns, model training, and evaluation
• A talent and eye for visual detail in layout, typography, motion, and behavior
• Demonstrated creative and innovative problem solving and a willingness to take the lead when needed
• Empathy and advocacy for user experience with peer teams like engineering, marketing, and business
• Passion for Apple, its products, and its customers
