Job Title: Product Designer, Insider Risk Primary Work Location: Salt Lake City UT, Richardson TX or Herndon VA Position Summary Everfox is seeking a Product Designer to shape the experience of its Insider Risk portfolio of products and services. You'll translate complex security data and behavioral analytics into intuitive interfaces that help security teams identify, investigate, and mitigate insider threats.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product design experience, ideally with exposure to enterprise software, security tools, data visualization, or analytics platforms.
  • Comfort designing for technical users and complex workflows.
  • You have strong interaction design skills and know how to make dense information accessible.
  • Experience with design systems and working within existing component libraries is important, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll need to articulate design rationale to stakeholders across the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of security concepts, risk assessment, or compliance workflows is a plus but not required—we'll help you build domain knowledge.
  • What matters most is your ability to learn complex problem spaces quickly and translate that understanding into thoughtful design solutions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive design direction even when requirements are evolving.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and security researchers to design workflows for threat detection, case management, and investigative tools.
  • Conduct user research with security analysts and insider threat professionals to understand their workflows, pain points, and decision-making processes.
  • Design user experiences that will balance the need for comprehensive data visibility with clarity and usability, helping users surface critical insights from large datasets.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for dashboards, alert systems, user activity timelines, and risk scoring interfaces.
  • Establish patterns for displaying behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, and policy violations in ways that enable quick assessment and action.
  • Much of your work will involve designing for investigative workflows—helping analysts move efficiently from alert to evidence gathering to resolution.
