About The Position
Airtable is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Product Designer who is passionate about creating robust, scalable, and intuitive design systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping Airtable's design language and component libraries, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience across our platform. You will develop, maintain, and evolve Airtable's design system and visual language to ensure consistent user experiences across all products and platforms. This position requires collaboration with brand designers, product designers, engineers, and product managers to understand their needs and translate these into system requirements and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining detailed documentation of design system components, including their usage, behavior, and accessibility standards. You will conduct regular audits of our products to ensure adherence to the design system and identify opportunities for its expansion and refinement. As an advocate for design system best practices, you will educate and support other teams in their use of the design system. Additionally, you will lead and facilitate design system office hours and workshops to address queries, gather feedback, and ensure alignment across teams. Regular communication of updates and changes to the design system across the organization will also be a key part of your role.
