About The Position

The Product Designer role at Cisco ThousandEyes focuses on creating exceptional user experiences for the Intelligence and Endpoints Business. This position involves designing intuitive interfaces that leverage AI tools for data visualization, enhancing user interaction with complex datasets. The designer will collaborate with various teams to gather requirements, conduct user research, and iterate on designs throughout the product development cycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Design experience, ideally with enterprise/SaaS software products.
• Experience and/or a passion for working with data visualization.
• A portfolio showcasing a proven track record of user-centric design work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in AI-driven product design.
• Familiarity with agile development processes.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and synthesize user research activities to understand users and address usability issues.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, detailed UX flows, prototypes, UI mockups, sketches, visuals, and presentations to promote understanding and alignment with cross-functional teams.
• Simplify complexities around data visualization to help users gain actionable insights seamlessly.
• Iterate designs based on feedback from team members, users, and subject matter experts.
• Drive design decisions based on user metrics and qualitative interviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand customer problems and apply design thinking to build cohesive product experiences.
