About The Position

We are seeking a customer-focused Product Designer to define the way AI agent interplay and display across our Zoom AI Companion experiences. AI Companion proactively assists users by automating tasks, coordinating seamlessly across native and third party products, and surfacing relevant content at precisely the right moment. You will create scalable, innovative and intuitive AI-powered solutions and collaborate across teams to set design quality standards. Your designs will help make these agents be helpful, trustworthy, and intuitive to interact with. About the Team Our AI team creates intelligent features that handle complex workflows, makes decisions, and solves problems with human-like reasoning, surpassing traditional chatbots to improve efficiency. You'll join a passionate, collaborative design team working with product, engineering, research, and accessibility to shape core experiences and design agentic AI tools at scale.

Requirements

• Hold MS or equivalent experience with 4+ yrs in product design and a robust portfolio showcasing exceptional user-centered interaction design.
• Have experience managing complex projects involving cross-functional and cross-team stakeholder groups, spanning different timezones.
• Have a deep understanding and handling of visual design with a passion for polish and an expert eye for detail.
• Have exposure to Prompting, vibe coding, Figma (and other relevant tools) for both design and prototyping.
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate positions to influence and engage partners with new design thinking.
• Be a skilled systems thinker with the ability to contribute back to our design systems library.
• Have a deep understanding of Zoom's family of products, including our AI Studio and Admin Settings.
• Must have prior experience creating AI agents for enterprise products
• Have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking practices.
• Must be fluent in Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating on high-impact, mission-critical projects that define future of Zoom Agentic AI, owning design strategy, end-to-end execution with a focused emphasis on refined, production-ready visuals.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams (PM, engineering, research, and accessibility) to align on product direction, deliver impactful work, and champion design excellence across all surfaces.
• Playing a key role in delivering high-quality design, collaborating with leadership to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with the broader vision across projects.
• Setting and uphold a high bar for visual and interaction design quality, demonstrating passion for polished UI, effective instincts for layout, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions, evaluate success, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Owning design execution effectively in Figma, delivering pixel-perfect visuals, robust prototypes, and clear specifications for engineering partners.
