The role involves mentoring and coaching designers, collaborating with C-level executives, and driving strategic UX opportunities. Requirements

  • Fluency in French and proficiency in English.
  • Strong track record of leading product design teams, preferably in B2B organizations.
  • Excellent eye for design and ability to assist the team with creative inputs.
  • Ability to align team decisions with overall vision and design guidelines.
  • Experience fostering an inclusive and engaged design team culture.
  • Comfortable communicating design directions with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach with experience working closely with Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers.
  • Significant experience collaborating with senior executives.
  • Ability to simplify and translate complex issues for non-expert audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Scale and level-up your team of 5 product designers.
  • Partner closely with other design leaders, cross-functional partners, and HR partners to hire, develop and retain design talent.
  • Identify strategic UX opportunities to enhance user productivity.
  • Orchestrate user research to understand user behavior and convert insights into actionable strategies.
  • Measure the effect of design on business performance and oversee strategic directions.
  • Contribute expertise in the form of insights and best practices.
  • Help the team balance speed, quality, and design consistency.
  • Shape and establish design processes and drive design best practices.
  • Collaborate with design ops teams.
