As a Product Design Manager you will be the driving force behind shaping an exceptional end-to-end learning journey for N exford's students. You will play a pivotal role in envisioning, designing, and delivering products and services that exceed learner expectations, foster engagement, and drive academic success. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that every touchpoint in the learner's lifecycle is seamless, intuitive, and inspiring. Your work will directly contribute to N exford's mission of transforming lives through accessible and transformative education. Requirements

  • Proven Experience: 5+years of experience in product design , with edtech, education, simulation, and/or gaming experience a big plus.
  • Customer Obsession: 2+ years of user research experience, including user interviewing, usability testing, prototype testing, card sorting, etc.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyse data, derive insights, and use them to inform product decisions.
  • Strong Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders using designs, flow diagrams, briefs, and tickets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong Figma and AI-tooling skills.
  • Desire to be on the cutting edge of product design, prototyping, and development.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve complex problems creatively and effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • edtech, education, simulation, and/or gaming experience a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience Strategy: Work closely with the CPO to c ultivate and execute a comprehensive customer experience strategy that aligns with Nexford's mission statement and core values, facilitating the attainment of corporate and departmental key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Product Design & Development: Help lead product design and work closely with product and design leads to ensure that our designs and strategies are implemented at a high level.
  • Requirements Specification: Define clear and concise design and product requirements, ensuring that they address learner needs and align with business objectives .
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Nexford , including Learner Success, Academic Operations, Technology, and Marketing, to ensure a cohesive and seamless learner experience. Additionally, foster successful market introduction of new products, features, and experiences.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize user research, market research, data analytics , and learner feedback to assess product performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform future product iterations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, iterating on products and services based on feedback and data insights.
